7:15 – 8:10 Draft Strategy Recommendations: IO members will have an opportunity to discuss and ask questions related to the first draft strategy recommendations released by the Technical Committee.

8:10 – 8:40 Institutional Arrangements for Continuing the Cooperative Arrangement: Mary-Arthur Beebe, Executive Director of the Lake George Association (LGA) and Kevin Millington of the NYS Department of State. The LGA recently completed a management plan for Lake George that is being implemented under a non-binding, cooperative agreement between all the water quality partners involved in developing the plan. The LGA and has been successful in its pro-active approach to developing and progressing water quality projects that support the management plan. As a model, the LGA offers a glimpse of what the IO might expect as it moves into the implementation phase. Members will have an opportunity to hear more about the institutional arrangements driving implementation, as well as other issues that might arise during the transition from plan development to implementation.

8:40 – 8:50 IO Member Contribution Funds : Questions were raised in November regarding accounting of IO member contributions. Efforts to provide requested detail have been underway and will be explained. The IO will be asked to approve an additional $167.53 expenditure for producing the CD ROMs pending receipt of adjusted invoice.
