Update on information and sources available for the State of the Lake Report:

• Limnological monitoring conducted during the harvest season (complete in late October).
• Sediment coring samples summarized to determine depositional rates and toxic deposition over time (complete in May1999)

• ?ll project moving along

• Sampling in Seneca and Cayuga Lake in association with SUNY Brockport. There will be two separate reports by March 1999. Cayuga Lake sampling north end of lake south of RR bridge. Sampling includes nutrients and chlorophyll A.

• Supply summary of major processes and projects going on in the Cayuga Lake Watershed with organization mission (David Zorn)
• Send formal request letter for Cayuga Lake data and information to Cornell Center for the Environment with cc to WRI, Department of Natural Resources, Department of Ag Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering and CCE (David Zorn)
• Draft preliminary consultant RFP and send out to Technical Committee for review (David Zorn - ENCLOSED)
• Acquire and distribute other watershed management plans, state of the lake reports, and watershed characterizations (David Zorn)
• Change title of initial report to Preliminary Watershed Characterization
