Update on information and sources available for the State of the Lake Report:
Cliff Callinan PE, NYSDEC Lakes Service Section:
- Limnological monitoring conducted during the harvest season (complete in late October).
- Sediment coring samples summarized to determine depositional rates and toxic deposition over time (complete in May1999)
Bill Kappel, USGS
- ?ll project moving along
Jim Malyj, Seneca Co. SWCD
- Sampling in Seneca and Cayuga Lake in association with SUNY Brockport. There will be two separate reports by March 1999. Cayuga Lake sampling north end of lake south of RR bridge. Sampling includes nutrients and chlorophyll A.
