*The entire agenda of the March 24, 1999 Intermunicipal Organization (IO) Meeting will be dedicated to water quality issues in the Cayuga Lake Watershed where IO members will be asked to identify and discuss what they see as the water quality issues and concerns facing the watershed. This was first discussed at the February 10, 1999 Technical Committee Meeting. Final planning for the IO session will be held at this meeting. The IO session will be led by EcoLogic (see enclosed IO Meeting Agenda).
**As part of the first year NYSDOS contractual requirements to provide an interim list of implementation recommendations county WQCCs have been asked to submit a list of recommendations for implementation projects of watershed-wide significance. These lists along with WQCC input and preliminary Cayuga Lake Watershed Management Plan Technical Committee recommendations to the IO will be discussed (see enclosed letter to WQCCs).
Directions to Town of Ledyard Building
From the north: Routes 5&20 to Route 90 (just east of Montezuma Refuge). South on Route 90. Go through Aurora. At south end of Aurora by the baseball field at Poplar Ridge Road turn left up the hill and go about 2 º miles. Town of Ledyard Building is on left side of road. Meeting room is in front of building.
From the NYS Thruway: From the east use Auburn exit to Routes 5&20 and follow directions above. From the west use Waterloo exit make right onto Route 414 go º and make left onto Route 318. Take 318 to end and make left onto Routes 5&20.
From the south: Take 34 North until it insects with 34B. Turn left onto 34B North. Stay on Route 34B until you pass through the Hamlet of Kings Ferry. Go about 3 miles to Southern Cayuga High School. Just past the school is Poplar Ridge Road. Turn left toward the lake. Stay on Poplar Ridge Road for about 2 miles to Ledyard Town Barn. Meeting room is in front of building.
